Starting out on television in a singing role on Ally McBeal, Renée Elise Goldsberry went on to make her mark in multiple media. A Tony, Grammy and Drama Desk Award winner and a major force on Broadway stages, Goldsberry originated the role of Angelica Schuyler in the smash hit Hamilton. The singer-songwriter-actor had major roles in Broadway runs of The Color Purple, The Lion King and Rent. Goldsberry is also a three-time Emmy Award nominee. Her current live dates are characterized as “a nondenominational spiritual journey.”
