Børns is the self-chosen name of edge surfer, androgynous fashion maven, and singer songwriter, Garrett Borns. With an artistic expression rooted in performers like Bowie and The New York Dolls, Børns takes it down a few notches in wild glamour and emits a more honest, soulful, down-to-earth catalogue of songs and stage presence. Yet, the detail of the “entire package” is not lost in presentation and Børns is a commercial success, as well as pioneer. After topping the bill over a decade ago at Coachella, Børns continues their exploration of self, musical genres and the perfect matching bag.
