Born in Washington D.C. Joe Boston (aka Shallou) is a big city DJ and not just because of his last name. He attended college in New Orleans, moved to Chicago and currently resides in Los Angeles where he builds his ambient, electro-house beats. Shallou’s music is light, airy and ethereal, giving listeners and dancers feelings of hope, inspiration and a belief that maybe this really is where we are supposed to be at this moment. He got his first big break in 2014 and dropped his debut EP, All Becomes Okay three years later. By 2019 Shallou was signed to Island Records and released his debut full-length the following year.
