Sally Bowles is a mercurial figure with irresponsible moods living in 1930s Berlin. She resides in a tawdry rooming house and has an eye for photography. She also often and fondly describes herself as an “extraordinarily interesting person.” John Van Druten gives a Cabaret look into the unbearable and at times disturbing life of this young woman in Berlin. The audience will watch her take her life confidently and in strides. She will indulge her vices. The more the audience knows, the more moved they will be as they become caught up in the reality of this girl. Goes until Nov 14.
