Parenting isn’t for everyone. But it takes a strong person to be a mother. That’s the central theme of Motherhood Out Loud, a series of staged readings of works from celebrated American authors. First performed in 2011, Motherhood Out Loud takes the audience through a journey of growth, patience and the unpredictable nature of motherhood. The production has been praised by the Examiner, LA Weekly and many theater industry rags, and has been performed across the country and around the world. Performances go until June 20.
